Programme Overview

Emotional Intelligence has been found to be a highly effective driver of a leader's success.

This NEW practical and experiential programme is designed to help you apply and embed Emotional Intelligence into the DNA of your being, to produce tangible changes in your leadership style and behaviours, and enhance your personal effectiveness in the workplace.

The programme which is delivered in collaboration with emotional intelligence specialists Enabling Visions, includes a two day residential retreat at a secluded country home, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, for a small group of 6 x high achieving leaders.

A professional video crew will be used to film activities during the course of the retreat to raise participant's awareness of their unconscious behaviours and attitudes within a group scenario. Each leader will leave with a DVD recording to aid self-analysis and develop greater self awareness.

We work with leaders to increase their Emotional Intelligence by between 20-30%. Your Emotional Intelligence or EQ level will be measured at the start and again at the end of the programme by our highly skilled emotional intelligence specialists to assess the progress made using a tool called EQi.

The programme has been developed by LeaderGen's CEO, Marilyn Comrie OBE, author of 'Leaderene - Feminine Principled Leadership'.

Programme structure

STAGE ONE - EQi ASSESSMENT

The approach we take is simple but powerful. It starts with a 2 hour 'Discovery Session' delivered by specialist coaches from Enabling Visions two weeks prior to the weekend residential, where we assess your Emotional Intelligence level and key areas for development. This will form the basis for the development plan to improve targeted EQi skills areas that will be agreed with your emotional intelligence coach prior to the residential.

STAGE TWO- THE RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMME
Armed with the results of your EQ assessment, you will attend a two-day residential country retreat with a small group of high achieving leaders. Participants will be filmed by a professional video crew during their time at the retreat. Through a series of human interaction experiments, learning support, a variety of creative team activities and exercises you will gain powerful insights your personal leadership style, your blind spots and its impact on others.

STAGE THREE - EMBEDDING EQi
You will have two follow-through emotional intelligence coaching sessions of up to 2 hours duration over a 3-6 month period. In the final session we reassess your Emotional Intelligence level and compare this to the initial assessment to measure progress made.

STAGE FOUR - MASTERY FOCUS GROUPS

Meeting on quarterly basis, the group will meet to discuss their successes, challenges in a safe and confidential environment facilitated by a coach to continuously develop new approaches and new ways to solve situations and embed emotional intelligence deep within the psyche so that it becomes second nature.
